“Emotion in the Threads”
Installation made with discarded materials found in an area of the ruined textile industry in the greater Buenos Aires area.
Materials: cut tarpaulins and canvas, wool, bark, and branches.
Dimensions: 166x80x20 cm.
Rescue industrial tarpaulins are transformed into vegetation through cuts, tension, knots, and basting stitches.
Among branches and bark, the work merges maternal inheritances of sewing and ‘making with what you have.
With raw materials and the intentional language of the provisional, it manifests itself, in the face of the predatory
human footprint, as organic and poetic resistance.
